After making the reservation at the "Inn of the Rockies" http://innofrockies.com/, found that calling the place itself directly would offer a better deal. Same no penalty cancellation policy, up to July 7th to cancel with no charges.

4 Units, with 2 Queen Beds, one pull out sofa, 1.5 Bath, & kitchen, Indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. picnic tables and BBQ grills.

At the present exchange rate, nightly price of USD $186 Including 9% tax, total of USD $1116 for 6 nights/unit. This is lower price than the Banff Gate Mountain resort, with much better looking rooms, cleaner and more up to date.

Looking forward to hear from everyone, your thoughts and feedback. And I am sure they would have a place where we could all gather and mingle (Breakfast, lunch or dinner), I will call and ask and leave another post.

I will continue to monitor lodging prices at different resorts in Banff area and will reserve the ones with free cancellations.

I just reserved another place in this area, offers free cancellation up to July 8th. The price is very close to the one I had reserved before at the Banff Gate Mountain Resort. http://banffgatemountainresort.com/.  Banff Gate Resort is okay and very basic. Take a look at the rooms and reviews people have left.

But the new one that I just made reservations, called "Inn of the Rockies" http://innofrockies.com/. 4 units that accommodate up to 6 adults each, Price is only $10-$20 higher than Gate Resort, but the rooms look much nicer and cleaner. Again, we have until July 8 to cancel with no penalties and until then I will continue my search for better priced units.
